DAY 1: Arrival in Antalya

Flight to Antalya.Our tour guides will meet us at the airport.Transfer to the hotel.Overnight in Antalya.

DAY 2: Myra (St. Nicholas) – Xanthos (UNESCO World Heritage site)

Today we will drive along the gorgeous coast of Lycia, via Finike, to Myra, now known as Demre where we will visit the church with the remains of St. Nicholas who was a bishop there in the 4th century. In the late afternoon, we will reach the Lycian capital, Xanthos, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since1988 on account of its unique and embellished burial monuments, pillar tombs and sarcophagi. Our journey will then continue to Fethiye’ formerly Telmessos, where we will spend the night.

DAY 3: Dalyan

This morning we get on our boat in Dalyan, for an unforgettable tour for nature lovers and bird watchers.On the boat we see the most impressive rock tombs of the ancient city of Caunos.Then our boat will take us to Iztuzu Beach also known as Turtle Beach which host the nesting areas for the logger head turtles,Carretta Carettas. After this wonderful tour we drive to Kusadasi.Overnight in Kusadasi.

DAY 4: Ephesus-Temple of Artemis

The highlight of our tour, Ephesus where Saint Paul lived, was one of the most important ancient harbor cities and has been excavated by Austrian archaeologists over a century.Today we explore the Roman ruins of amazing Ephesus and we see one of the seven wonders of the ancient world,the Temple of Artemis.Overnight stay in Kusadasi.

DAY 5: Aphrodisias

Today our tour takes us through the fertile Meander Valley to the ancient city of Aphrodisias,famous for its sanctuary of Aphrodite,and the marble quarries.During the Roman period Aphrodisias was the home of an important school of sculpture.

DAY 6: Tavas - Antalya

We drive to Denizli- Tavas region (1300 m) and visit a carpet weaving center to learn about the Turkish traditional cultural heritage ,Anatolian Turkish hand- woven carpets.Then our journey will take us to Antalya along the picturesque Taurus Mountains.Overnight in Antalya.

DAY 7: Antalya

Today we explore Antalya, the pearl of the Mediterranean with an unforgettable walk in Kaleici,Old Town and marina then with opportunities of shopping in the gold and leather factories in the afternoon.Overnight in Antalya.

DAY 8: Departure

Transfer to airport and return flight.
